Residential Living

In our homes, Friends are family.

We have provided affordable housing to our neighbors with cognitive and developmental disabilities since our agency was founded in 1972.

We have provided affordable housing to our neighbors with cognitive and developmental disabilities since our agency was founded in 1972.

We opened our first group home in 1974, and currently operate six homes in Newton and Wellesley, Massachusetts. All P2P homes are in attractive neighborhoods with easy access to stores, libraries, banks and other community services. Two to seven residents live in each home, and five of the homes are staffed 24-hours-a-day. Our team assists residents with activities of daily living and getting to appointments and enjoyable recreational activities in the community. Each resident participates in a day program, works in a supported setting or competitive job, or enjoys retirement activities.

Our licensed clinical social workers (LCSW) work directly with each Pathway to Possible client to assess the level of support they need and ensure that each person is in a residential setting that will enable them to develop as many independent living skills as possible, and to participate fully in the community.

Pathway to Possible's homes are located in the Newton villages of Newton Corner, Waban, West Newton, Newton Centre, and in Wellesley Square.
